Friends of Explore Walkers Group 

Friends of Explore Walkers is a group of Explore members and friends who enjoy walking and talking and stopping for tea and cake. We began in 2017 and hope to continue for ever and ever and ever and...

The walks are held once a month, usually on the last Sunday BUT it is not written in stone so, if members wish a different day, that can be arranged. We are Friends!

Some of the members offer to lead a walk which means we are all contributing to something we enjoy. The walks are not long or strenuous but are between three and five miles. Crampons & ice axes not needed!

The walks contain features that are of interest to as many as possible; geography, geology, natural history, social history... so that different members on the walk can contribute.
